I started Kelsey Owen Events in 2017 after ten plus years of catering weddings and events with Bocca Catering. I was always fascinated in watching these events come together and I knew that one day I wanted to have a greater part in it, all of it – the design, the production, the excitement! So I put my knowledge of catering together with my degree in design and went to work! Since then its been endless hours of design work, trips to La Tavola, and cake tastings – and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
When I’m not working on events you can find me camping in Nor Cal, sipping on craft cocktails, or competing with myself to make an even better charcuterie board than my last. I find joy in all things beautiful – whether it’s pretty packaging, perfectly charred bubbles on a wood fired pizza crust, or how the sunlight shines through the magnolia tree in my front yard. I spend most of my free time with friends, family and my handsome firefighter – who I swooped up 15 years ago. He is my rock, no eye for design, but handy when I need lights hung or arbors built *wink, wink*. I cry at all my weddings – in a good way, and I am so thankful for the friendships I have made along the way. Cheers to my fellow vendors and wonderful clients, you make what I do SO MUCH FUN!
